The P- Shot, also referred to as the Priapus Shot is an injection that was conceived to improve the length and girth of the penis while also improving sexual stimulation and performance for men.
The procedure begins with drawing one’s blood and then in our lab, we process the blood to extract the important growth factors that are concentrated in the segment known as platelet rich plasma (PRP), which is also known to some as “vampire blood injections”. In other words, growth factors are extracted from your own blood which is then injected into specific cavernous areas of the penis that are known to be important in penile function. Before the injections are done, we use a numbing cream to help provide some topical anesthesia, which aids in making the procedure more comfortable.
The procedure is repeated every 6-8 weeks for a total of three times to provide the maximum response in providing improved growth of the penis length and girth, as well as stimulating nerve tissue regeneration. After the procedure, patients are instructed to use a penis pump 10 minutes, twice daily for four weeks, to improve potential for penile growth.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet Rich Plasma contains many growth factors and healing factors. PRP has regenerative abilities and thus stimulates healing and rejuvenation. Additionally, many individuals opt for further enhancement which can be accomplished by administering small amounts of PRP that is mixed with Juvaderm Plus and is injected in the superficial outer layer of the penis to further enhance penis length and girth. Injections for this procedure are done by using a very small needle and slowly injecting in a fanning motion within the sides of the penis, very superficially. This enables for further growth and appearance and can add to the effect of the cavernous injections discussed above.
